Confused otc cold/sinus meds and small nerve fiber neuropat

Has anyone taken otc cold/sinus medicine and experienced no to little burn in feet and legs? I usually can't sit for a minute that I don't feel the burn and sitting now ( not at for a real long time yet) I've not felt the burn in two days? Also does anyone take the pain meds as needed for snf ( whether it be cymbalta, gabapetin or amriytpline) ? I'm not sure as my doctor said i could take them as needed at night but in reading i think some need to build up in your system to work. They r trying to find something i can take during the day and at night that doesn't leave me a zombie the next day like gabapentin and amtripyline , so now i'm going to try Cymbalta 30 mg once a day , not sure if that is in the morning or at night for it to work the best.
