I sometimes get numb arms/hands from doing simple things like carrying in the groceries. Other times, I might go numb when I try to become active.

Of course, sometimes the pain/numbness comes when I'm doing nothing at all, so I have no real theory about it. Perhaps there are other factors at play, such as the air temperature?

Those sound like they could also be... well, a lot of other things, but at the moment I'm thinking Thoracic Outlet Syndrome. There's a forum for that condition here.

Maybe take a look and see what you think (to ask your doctors) ...or maybe you've been down that road? :Dunno:
