I don't think ANY diagnosis can be made just from the 2 test results you've listed. Several possible diagnosis that MAY be related to these findings, still need additional tests to confirm.
At this point, you should not be thinking of 'whether you can deal with this diagnosis, or the other' because you're not even close to that stage yet. You need MORE tests to narrow down the possibilities. Dehydration is a very common reason for the increased protein, so it might not even be a problem. MGUS requires several more tests, like 24 hour urine, addition blood tests, skeletal survey (if everything else is positive), etc. Same for WM and sarcoidosis...more testing needed. The first step should be to contact the doctor that ordered these tests and get his assessment of the results and how he will proceed with further testing. Next step...which may be harder...relax. Looking into or researching the possible problems associated with abnormal labs is one thing, but you need to stay objective and try not to speculate until you have more information. Keep us posted. |
