Pantothenic Acid (Vitamin B5) has been studied for treating acne. Some of the studies have used absolutely (IMO) obscene amts. of B5; 10 to 20 grams/day.

Many people who have tried it report results with far lower doses; 1 gram or less/day. I've been plagued with a bad case of cystic acne my entire life. Since taking ~500 mg. of B5/day, it's cleared up. If I'd known about this 45 years ago...

Dr. Smith how did you find out for certain that you have a compromised immune system?
That goes back a long time; my tests often come back normal too, or sometimes indicating inflammation with no apparent symptoms/cause/reason. The best evidence is that I have (among other things) IBS/Crohn's, both of which are widely regarded as autoimmune diseases.

Default on tests for auto immune problems

I am not sure who asked this question. I received diagosis from Mayo clinic, after a two day battery of tests. I am not sure what tests I got, other than they turned up an immune problem that showed in tests there. T @ B lymphosite imbalance, among other things. ginnie
