Here is a new post I've made today on this topic.
Those here taking lipoic acid may want to read it. http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/sh...&postcount=166 Others with burning, tingling skin, or other dermatological symptoms may benefit from high dose biotin too.

Some Lipoic Acid supplements include Biotin. Designs for Health puts taurine in also. This is one of the Alpha Lipoic Acid supplements I take.
The other is by Xymogen..Timed released. http://www.rockwellnutrition.com/Lip...DFH_p_895.html Here is one of the ALA's by Xymogen. http://www.xymogen.com/2008/formula.asp?code=000096

If you read my new post... you will find that the biotin is best used at a different dosing time. This is because biotin and lipoic acid use the same transporter mechanisms and the biotin may not reach desired levels because of that competition.
The PubMed link illustrates a woman patient using a combo product, ALA + biotin where she became biotin deficient anyway. Please take a look at it. This illustrates that combination products may not deliver the biotin at all, even though it is in the product used.
