Default Tramadol and seizures

Why does tramadol cause seizures ? what other medication acts the same ? What do I do when this happens ? I noticed trazadone make me spasm and shake. I am very scared this will happen again. I experienced these. painful electric shocks everywhere I was having. a seizure. Last one I had I ended up with a bloody nose and a mild sprained. Tl

AFAIK, tramadol does not actually cause seizures; it decreases the seizure threshold. Some types of anti-depressants (including trazadone) can also do this.

IMO, you need to report this to your doctor immediately/ASAP.

If it happens again before you can reach your doctor (I'm no expert) get to someplace where you cannot trip, fall, or otherwise injure yourself. If appropriate, lie down.

I can't comment on discontinuing either of these medications; I'm not a doctor, there is not enough information, and discontinuing either abruptly could also have ramifications. Hence, please call your doctor.
