Carbs like white flour are bad for sure, but I am gluten free so I eat very little of any flour. If I do, it is almond flour or oat flour.
Good carbs/sugars are fruit, some beans and veggies. With good fiber. I have just started making dark choc. candy. I put peppermint oil and coconut palm oil or coconut manna in. WOW, so good. Great on strawberries. And so healthful. I did without choc. for a while and finally made my own. I miss milk choc, but this is so good. Hubby and I love to cook and we have enjoyed learning about the best diet for us. Paleo type. Good for mitochondria and nerves. My integrative MD has guided all of my diet and supplements.
