So sorry to hear what you are going through. Have you consulted a doctor?

Hi eliLake, hopefully you do have a trusted doctor to consult on this. A lot of it sounds like vaccine reaction, but there is also the possibility that one or more of the injections to your deltoid may have done some nerve damage. Keep us posted on your progress.

Hi eliLake! How are you doing now? Is your body temperature regulation improved. I have a similar problem. Today morning I woke up to find my body temperature 96.2F

hi everyone! I got scratched deeply by my cat last february 16 and received PEP. He also did try to bite me, there were small wounds and I wasn't sure so I pointed them to the female doctor who was on duty in the ER. I was going to give him chicken and he went for my hand.

FI completed 5 shots plus ERIG (on day3 because at that time i felt like I was categorized wrongly by the male doctor) even if I told the doctors I completed a series of 4shots from Oct-Nov 2016.. Now I feel like I was over vaccinated. Should have known better.

Anyway just as May started, probably the 3rd day or so, I felt the back of my left hand felt like it was burning. And now its the 7th of May my left wrist feels like it is burning.

My anxiety is not helping. Plus my parents thinks my cats are a nuisance because of what happened so I can't easily open up to them. Good thing I came across this thread. Hope someone who had the same symptoms can help!

About 25 days ago, I was back from work when I saw a small dog play with pice of bottle, he looks not stray, I gave him food and water and he played with me catch my right hand causing small nib because I pull it fast, I washed it and clean it with detol, two days after my friend suggest to get vaccination so I did, next day after first shot I had numbness in the last two fingers on my right hand I ignor it then after third shot I had nausea also I took some medisen and ignor it, but after forth shot I have experiance back pain all over my back like a prickle, I have become paranoid so I observed the dog he looks the same, I think that is the vaccine side effect on me!!

Default Thank you

I just wanted to come back and say thank you again to everyone who has updated through the years. The past few days I’ve been very scary (on and off whole body numbness and tingling, muscle spasms, lump in throat is back), but reading through and reminding myself I’m not alone has really helped.
Thank you all.

Default quick question on this vaccine

Has anyone here gotten the rabies vaccine without a confirmed bat or animal sighting here? Or everyone either had bites or a bat in the house? I felt something on my head in my neighborhood with bats. No idea if it was one but it was dark/dusk and i don't know what it was. Was considering getting the rabies vaccine for peace of mind to stop my anxiety but sounds like it may open up more problems and worries? ( although not as scary as rabies) this mystery event was already about 11 days ago.. I am leaning towards NOT doing it but just curious.

Default COVID vaccine?

My wife at age 56 developed a peripheral sensory neuropathy very similar to many others in this forum after receiving the Imovax and HyperRAB S/D vaccine following a bat bite. That was 4 years ago. Currently her symptoms are not as severe as they were in the first 12 month post vaccination but they do tend to flare up on occasion particularly at night.

My question—has anyone with a similar post-vaccine neuropathy received one of the COVID vaccines? She is very concerned about experiencing worsening symptoms and is leaning against COVID vaccination. She is otherwise healthy.

Thanks.

William

I had originally posted here but requested it be removed as I did not want to be an alarmist or deter anyone from getting this life saving vaccine if the needed it.

To answer your question, I had the Moderna Covid vaccine with no issue. I hope this gives your wife some peace of mind to move forward if she so chooses. I was concerned to get it but like the rabies vaccine I had to weigh the benefits with the risks.
