I see that there are varying symptoms that go away anywhere from 2 weeks to 2.5 years...that is a long road.

We are precisely 4 weeks in with not much progress. Most of the total body fasiculations have calmed down but still a lot of lower body nerve movement. Primarily left foot, calf and both L&R Hamstring. Did anyone have pain associated with their nerves? Also did your twitching move fingers or toes slightly or at all?

Much appreciated. Will update with anymore progress... a neuro has suggested CBD oil, anyone have a experience trying this to deal with symptoms?

Yes, I had significant nerve pain, and yes, I had finger twitches. No experience with CBD.

It’s helps to know others have gone through some of these same symptoms and overcame them. We’re you actually diagnosed with anything specific from your neurologist or were these just chalked up to the symptoms associated with receiving the vaccine.

definitely it comes and goes . Been taking some pain reliever for a while now and they helped a little bit but not that much so I stopped them entirely.

Welcome ARose. I am almost two weeks on from my last shot. I am mostly suffering tingling in hands and feet and some burning sensations and some muscle aches. Have also experienced feeling hot and sweaty followed by chills. Hope your symptoms improve quickly. What has your doctor said about your symptoms?

ARose, the neurologist exact words to me were, "This is classic for vaccine reaction, and it may take two years or more to resolve." I was never diagnosed with anything else. Frightening, frustrating, I don't know how else to describe it. For a long time any kind of exercise or exhertion would make the symptoms flare. You know you need to keep moving, but are rewarded by feeling worse. Patience, rest, moderate activity, good nutrition, and staying the course. That's all I can recommend.

Hope everyone is doing ok? Not a great day - tingling/ pins and needles sensations spreading up my arms and legs and in lips and on tip of tongue ! Trying to relax but I’m sure my anxiety isn’t helping. Just want to feel normal again.

Thanks for your reply Batbite. Still feeling the same - pins and needles getting worse. Was hoping it was anxiety but definitely think this is a reaction to the vaccine. In one of your posts you mention veterinary workers having reactions- are these reactions involving the nerves? Hope Bacc is doing ok?

The only post on this thread regarding booster vaccinations is on page 15 by Mwolf. It is his only post. We have a dog, and when I was going through the worst of the vaccine reaction I asked our vet if everyone in her practice routinely got the rabies boosters, and if she ever heard of anyone having severe reactions. She said yes, everyone in her practice was vaccinated and boostered regularly, and she had known people who had serious reactions, and had long recovery times. My brother-in-law is a retired policeman, and he also said some of the officers who experienced dog bites on duty and had the post exposure vaccine series had long lasting reactions. The reactions are nerve related/neurological. I don't think it's as uncommon as the medical world would have us believe. That said, I'm still grateful the vaccine is available. I just would never have routine boosters. If I had another bite/scratch/lick exposure I would do the 2 post exposure boosters (with great fear and trepidation,) but what's worse, a reaction, or dieing of rabies?
