Default back on lyrica

I saw my gp today & has told me to try lyrica again as I was only on it for 2 weeks. He has done me an urgent referral to see a neurologist....dont know how long urgent will be though.

How quickly is lyrica supposed to work?? also, I have read that it caues weight gain, is that true? I have had an eating disorder, but am ok at the moment. The thought of gaining weight really scares me.

My right foot seems to be getting worse. It hurts so much when I walk that I am having to limp about, but this puts more pressure on my other foot so cant win really. The pain is getting worse by the day or so it seems.

I gained about 25lbs on Lyrica. I am on 500mg a day. It's different with everyone. The dosage can also play into it as well. I gained a pound every few days and then leveled off. As i increased the dose then weight increased.

I have heard reports of people losing weight too. So you never know.
