Hi Jagerjoe,
I have had many of the symptoms that you described. Non of the medication had really helped me. So, I had a spinal cord stimulator (SCS) implanted. It has really helped to relief my pain. I hope this help. Take care!

Hi Jager joe

Hi and welcome to Neuro Talk. I have PN or RSD. I have a compound that both my orthopedic surgeon recommended and my pain specialist. If you PM me I will list the ingrediants. Has 5, and it helps. Medicare does not cover the medication as it is mixed at a special pharmacy. Before spinal cord stimulator, perhaps give it a try. ginnie:hug:

Start with the Lyrica and Gabapentin.

To sleep at night, I have to take Vicodin.
Good Luck.

I tried everything. The only thing that would help me was the spinal cord stimulator implant. You can ask your doc about it.

Gabapentin is all I am taking for my neuropathy. I've been dealing with this for several years now and sometimes I get scared I will loose the use of my feet and legs. That I won't be able to control them. What will be the end results? I admit I am scared. :(
