My GP would ring for a Government authority and was approved every time, which meant i would get 3 times the normal amount of tabs on 1 script, for the price of one, i think it was only $3.80 back then [ pension rate ] plus 5 repeats scripts as well. Only once i went to different pharmacy then usual and the pharmacist woman told me it was to much, she said the limit is 200 mg with Tramadol, but my neuro just nodded his head when i told him how much Tramadol i was on, and when i told my GP what the pharmacist had said, he got real snakey and said she is only a pill dispenser & she shouldn't question my scripts.
