Default Urinary tract infection need some advice

Hi Dear friends,

I have not posted in a while, have been extremely busy, but I am having a problem I need help with, on Oct5th I went to the Doctor with urinary problems, I have SFN for a year now. I did have a urinary tract infection, they gave me Cipro 500mg twice a day for 7 days, I finished the antibiotic 11 days ago. After a few days on antibiotic I felt pretty good, but today I noticed my urine is a little dark and I am having problems with burning again, so here is my question, I am afraid to take antibiotics because of my neuropathy, if I still have the infection what antibiotic should I ask the Doctor to prescribe me? When I was taking Cipro I felt my neuropathy was worse and I now also have a very irritating cough! It's such a vicious circle, thanks for any advice I appreciate it. Blessings, Jan

Default

I take Dmannose twice a day with Cranberry supplements also. I used to get so many UTI's. It is so interesting the way they work. Antibiotics are so awful. I try to not have to use them.

Duricef is the only antibiotic I can take. I hope you can get well soon.
