Default Pain Dream

First post- will give more about myself in later post....

Was feeling good last night so did do not take meds before I went to sleep.

My pain (caused by knee surgery) is limited to my lower leg. While sleeping, I am dreaming that I broke my leg and could find a doctor to fix it.

Interesting that my body can hurt even while sleeping. I have had symptoms for several years but the symtoms have increased after an additional knee surgery (misdiagnoses).

Have others had night pain translated through their dreams?

The brain has to work out problems and events while sleeping. I have dreamed many things after surgeries. I have dysautonomia and was unable to walk for a long time, I would sometimes dream I couldn't walk or I COULD, ha. Dreams are so interesting.

Absolutely. I cannot remember not being in pain in a dream since it all began. For some, that's part of the hell of it -- no escape.

PN has affected my dreams.

My mother has been deceased for a long time. I had one dream where I was my current age and my mother is close to age she was when she died. In dream, I said to her "Oh mom, I am so sick."
