This link explains the VDR taq gene combinations:

Those are your big 3.
The Yellows can be looked up on Google by just typing in
the abbreviations into the keyword search. Yellows are intermediate meaning some partial activity is possible.

Thank you for the links. I had found the first and third, but the second was new to me and VERY helpful. I've gone ahead and ordered one of the supplements recommended for the combo of mutations I have.

I need to look into my vitamin D levels more. My old doctor actually said to me one time, "I'm not going to bother testing your vitamin D levels because I can tell by looking at you that you get enough sun." I think when I developed these problems, though, that was something that was checked.

Some of my results say no call.

Do you all have any suggestions?

I used Genie, then Prometheius.

When did you do your 23andme test? I think they started using the new V4 chip referenced below in late 2013 or thereabouts.

.......

Does Genetic Genie still work since 23andMe stopped providing health information?

Yes. However, 23andMe recently changed their sequencing chip (they are now using their V4 chip) and no longer provides information on the following SNPs:

MTRR H595Y (rs10380)
MTRR R415T (rs2287780)
BHMT-04 (rs617219)
AHCY-02 (rs819134)
CBS N212N (rs2298758)
SHMT1 C1420T (rs1979277)
If you were genotyped recently by the new chip, these SNPs will not output information. If you have been genotyped in the past with the V3 chip, these SNPs will still output information.

I was done last month. So what do I do to get the results?

TIA

I have the SCN9A for neuropathy.
