Default Sue? I agree with Melody....

HUH?

Somehow, this was about Alan, and mattresses and toppers, and we have our own 'continuing story'! Tell me MORE!

After all, I'm confused enuf with my med conflicts, multiple diagnoses [hey we should ALL be paid for being either ON 'House' or as consultants to same] and whatever else life brings in the way of wrinkles in life...

But, 'willed' an overage man who can't sit down? Am I not 'receiving' well on my end?

I realize your strength is at a probable low-ebb rite now, but later? Please?

Hugs for the meantime!!! - j

Yes she did and it was bit of a surprise to the lawyer!!

Mom had a great sence of humor right up to the end. She had the will
drawn up at one lawyer.Nobody had any idea she was doing this or cared.

Bob and mon were childhood friends, although mom was a bit older they kept
in touch he spent his adult life in Ca.She moved wife Dad to Mi.and they
allowed my dear brother and little old me to join them.I'm not sure but i think
my sweet Grandma, while holding a shotgun said no you don't Jonnie Joe get
on back here and get these darling wee ones.Mom smiled, she was very tall
and beautifull and very sneaky.

Bob and mom wrote each other for years,we never met him but were allowed
to read the letters and grew to love him.Although i not sure dad was so
happy about it.When dad passed away, mom decided to move back to
to Hannibal Mo.Yes the hometown of Mark Twain or at least that's where
they painted the fence white every year. Then Bob's wife passed away,
there he was very nice looking,he had big muscles like Alan.

My family moved back as well.My husband Hal passed away 8 years ago and
i had 3 kids in college,i was feeling very sorry for myself.Mom kept saying i'm
going to send you Bob..Then we found out that my very beautifull mom had
a very rare form of breast cancer. All she ever said was i know you love me
i will not not let anyvody do anything,i love my hair and i want to go on a
cruise to Alaska. She went on 4 trips with Bob then all the kids there friends
flew in from everywhere even Peru.We all celebrated her life while she was
here to enjoy it,they took her i think there were 3 limousines to a funny
little diner she loved it went on for a week. She went dancing as well at a
college hang out. We have it all on video. Not once did she have a pain pill.

Bob never left her side he was with her when she passed away.We did not
know she had a will,my brother got a call from a lawyer asking us to come
his firm.My brother is a lawyer he was really was, i not sure what word to
use.

In the will she divided everything up,you know bla this and bla that,i
wanted some of my brothers bla,but never said any thing. They lawyer
pressed a button and in comes a very very confused Bob.Sue since you
will have no use for your mothers 250 pairs of shoes (mom had big feet)
and mine hurt anyway.

Your mother is leaving you Bob,i knew my brother wanted him but nope i
got him.And now he's my best friend when he's not dating, far to many
women..I told you my sweet mom was sneaky and also she was very wise.
Besides if i didn't take him i would have to deal with her some day..

Thanks i really looking foward to the Grandbaby Sue

Lets' see if I have this straight and don't shoot me if I sound out of line.

Your mom had a husband and a boyfriend named Bob, and after your dad passed away and Bob's wife passed away, Bob came to live with your mother and she went on trips with him, ....am I right so far???

Then your mom passed away and you inherited Bob. And now you are taking care of your mom's boyfriend? Do I have this correct.

This is the most fascinating story I think I have ever heard in my life.

Your mother was one sophisticated lady!!!!!

my oh my.
lol

Default Nope

No Guns in this house i would just drop it and blow my foot off.

She had a husband that she never tried to replace. As well as a life
long childhood best friend.Knowing my mom she would of loved the
the whole Sophisticated Lady part.Bob movied in with Mom to take
care just a few months before she passed away.Hmm they did live
in the same apartment building for a few years..There she goes being
sneaky again If Bob wasn't in such pain i would wake him and have a
chat with him,you know he smiles but talks very little.Just wait until
i e-mail my brother tommorow.

Now he's the one who might shoot us both!! We just may have to
take this to that scary CHAT ROOM..Have you ever been in there??

Well no matter what Bob's mine now because my mom left him to me
in her will.. Sue wow i have to put ice on my finger..

Wink Hi, Melody!

Alan looks very handsome in that new uniform!

I hope this works out well for him, and you guys get some more dough, to
enjoy life now.

I sure hope that methylcobalamin does not share the same fate as the
recently Metafolin disaster. See the new thread about it at our vitamin board.

If the makers of this B12 decide to withdraw it from sale to independent providers, like Merck did with methylfolate, we will all be up the creek!
(this would mean only expensive RX versions would be made).
This is a new way to control the market and totally bypasses the FDA!

BTW I think 1000mcg is enough for you to start. You could take two = 2,000 mcg a day for the first month, to get started.

Default HI Mrs. D!!!!!

Wow, been a long time since we communicated. I hope you are well.

I shall buy the 1000 of the methyl.

Now isn't if just fascinating to have somebody leave you a person in your will.

Now to SUE:::

Sue: You keep inferring ....here and there.... using the word sneaky.

That means you are not quite sure of the relationship, right??? Well who cares. Your mom sounds like a nice person who went the extra distance for someone she cared about. Whether she loved him or just liked him, she sounds like a really fun lady.

Now let me tell you something REALLY INTERESTING.

I have a friend who shall remain nameless. I know her for over 35 years.

Three years ago she calls me up crying and hysterical and I couldn't imagine what happened. She kept saying "he's gone, he's gone". I said Who's gone, your husband'. and she said "no, my boyfriend". I said (quite stupidly), You have a boyfriend????, but you've married and in your fifties". Believe me, when she was 23 she came to my job and my boss went nuts over her and said to me "Melody, NOW THAT'S A BEAUTIFUL WOMAN".

So there she is spilling guts out and for the next hour, I learn that she fell in love with a man one year after she got married and they have had a relationship for over 30 years. It was like the movie Back Street with Susan Hayward and John Gavin. Remember that one???. John Gavin was married to Vera Miles and they had 2 kids and John Gavin meets Susan Hayward and they fall madly in love and he is supposed to come back to Susan Hayward only he gets on a plane and leaves and dies.

The rest of the movie Susan Hayward sits in the chair and she remembers. It's quite a tear jerker. Try and rent this someday if you can.

Well, my girlfriend lived this whole double life thing. And it LASTED!!!

And here I was saying to her on the phone. "you did WHAT for 35 years???" but I speak to you every day, YOU DID WHAT FOR 35 YEARS"???????

I just stood there and listened. They were having their weekly rendevous and he had a heart attack in the motel room. The police were called. She had to accompany them to the police station. She kept asking the policeman to "please keep my name off the official record". He said: "lady, do you know how many times we find dead guys in motel rooms with the ladies and they want us to keep their names off the record". No can do!!!!

Now get this. This guy was a friend of the family so she and her husband had to go to the funeral service. She told me the whole story. She was standing next to her husband and getting hysterical during the service and her husband was saying to her "what is the matter with you, why are you acting this way". He had no clue. Neither did I!!!!

Well, the husband found out. Don't ask what happened. He has been throwing it in her face for the past 3 years. Talk about getting slapped. I say to her "what the hell did you expect, you had a double life for 35 years. Now he knows. by theway her husband is much older than she is.

I tell you, I know more stories about people that would curl your hair.

So Bless your darling mom. If she found happiness, was sneaky, was not sneaky, who cares??? Bob is now your responsibility. You have to try and find him a 75 year woman who still has life in her canoodle!!!!!!!Maybe she'll wind up taking care of him.

Watch the shotguns now!!!!

lol (you're a delight)

Melody

Mel,
If you're going to go with 1000 Methyl B12 - Get the Jarrow.

(Besides, it really tastes good)
