Default Had My Emg test!

Had my emg test. I have to say the needles didnt hurt! But those shocks! Well those are a different story! Those were crazy!

I am now waiting for the results. The guy who did my test said he couldnt give me my results. I had to wait to hear from my doctor. I thought some of you got your results right away.

Thanks for sharing your experiences with me. It made me less nervous at the time of the test.

Yes, it's not the needles it's the shocks that hurt. Waiting for the results is pretty much the norm as it's the doctor who would inform you. Good luck with your results.

glad you got thru it ok and we helped you to be less nervous

once your physician reads the results, interprets them, writes a report and signs off you should get a written report to keep for your records

it is my understanding that by law the physician who writes the final report is obligated to send it to you by your request...somebody correct me if I am wrong here

glad the needles did not hurt...yes, the shocks are irritating...why I teased you initially by stating I personally felt like I was being "tasered" and I had 4 of them done within a 6 month timeframe!

I definitely felt tasered...LOL Now its just waiting for the results. Hopefully they can figure out what caused my drop foot with leg numbness and let me get something to help me walk. Im only 44 and I feel like Im falling apart!
