I have Dx of idiopathic PN. So far my symptoms have been sensory. Now I have had vomiting episodes going on for 9 months. I have appointment with gastro PA in Feb.
I have been to doctor before with this vomiting and weight loss. My blood tests taken have come out normal. Could this be the first noticeable sign of AN? Vomiting is in morning and I am all right the rest of day. I have had barium x-ray of esophagus. It doesn't appear to be related to drugs I am on. I started out back in April 2012 with a lot fewer episodes and now it is almost every day. Last edited by januarybabe; 01-26-2013 at 08:36 AM. Reason: Add-on info |

It really doesn't sound like AN to be honest. Gastroparesis causes nausea and sometimes vomiting, but typically after a meal (any meal)...not just getting up in the morning and start vomiting, then fine.
See what your GI doc has to say. May be time for a scope or other tests. |
