Hi all. I realize I have not posted in quite some time. I do try and go on the Welcome to New Member forums but lately, well it's been a bit much for me. Alan has had this recurring foot ulcer for quite some time. He had to be off his foot for the past few months (and I collapsed in December or thereabouts because of my bad knee). So I take care of him, the house, everything. I dress his foot ulcer every day, and every tuesday we go to the podiatrist. Access a ride kicked him off, he lost an appeal (the guy can barely walk) but they don't care. He wears the Crow boot.
We now have a lawyer and we are going for an Article 78 against Access a ride). He still has severe neuropathy, and at night sits there with this vibrating massager on his thigh and he says it brings the blood flow into his foot so that stops the pins and needles a bit. They never found out exactly why he has neuropathy for 20 years. He's had every single test in the book. But he has severe spinal stenosis and they say they can't do a thing about it. He's been to all the back doctors for YEARS. Not one said "we think the neuropathy might be because of your back". Now they say "well, it could be'. And he has auto immune stuff going on. It's a vicious cycle. But the foot ulcer came back because of ill fitting orthotics and his having a high arch. As of yesterday, his podiatrist said "wow, it's healing nicely, it's now superficial", come back next Tuesday. And the doc debrided it and wrapped it. So I dont know how long it will be until it's healed. I have to do everything in this house and I have my own issues. Sometimes it gets to me. It's very overwhelming. Thank god I have my hobby (sprouting and microgreening) which feeds the both of us. I would be lost without doing this. I'm 65 and I'm tired. Thanks for listening. And I do hope that most of you are at least doing okay today. Mel

I am sorry things are tough for you and Alan now, Mel.
![]() ![]() But thank you for the update, anyway. I think it may help to just type it out...and share. Sharing is a big part of NeuroTalk. You guys might want to try the new Epsom Lotion by Morton. It is at WalMart... but I don't know if you can easily get to one. Also on Amazon now. It is far better and more effective than the old CVS one. You might try it on your knee. I find it helps with pain or swelling anywhere on the body. And it is not expensive ($5.98 at WalMart). If you do try it only use about a quarter's diameter dollop on your target. It is pretty strong. (not to be applied directly to open sores) http://www.amazon.com/Morton-Epsom-L...n+Epsom+lotion

Hi Mrs. D.
I have degenerative joint disease. All over. When the weather is in the 90's I'm happy as a clam. But when the temp goes up and down, well, I'm done. But I persevere. I always do. And I have NEWS for you about Methyl B-12. To say that it has been a lifesaver for me is putting it mildly. But listen to what happened to my friend yesterday. She has been taking Methyl b-12 for a year now. She's diabetic and she used to fall asleep at work in the afternoon. I told her all about Methyl B-12 (she's also diabetic) and she has been on it. So NATURALLY her B-12 levels on her blood test went up. She went to her doctor yesterday (I had told her what to ask if he mentioned the high levels). He said to her "look look out high your B-12 level is" "it's too high". She looked him dead in the eye and said "So what does that mean?" He said "What does what mean?" She said 'it's says it's high, so what's bad about that?" He started to stammer and stutter and say "What do you mean, what's bad about that, it's HIGH". She slowly and carefully said "I know it's high, I can read, now tell me why it's BAD". He looked at her and said "Well, it's BAD because it's in the high column'. She did it again. She said 'Explain WHY it's bad, what happens to me if my B-12 level is HIGH?" He said "I have no idea". She told me this today. She asked me to print out an explanation for her doctor so the next time she goes, she'll bring it to him. I'm going to go and look on the internet for the info so I can copy and paste and print it out for her to bring to him. I thought of you immediately. lol Melody

And I'm still not getting any email notifications of responses or private messages. I have selected all the correct options and done it all. Still no emails.
I don't know what to do. I don't have a junk mail folder. I get mail from other forums. I wonder why this happens. Mel

Hi Mel,
We don't know why the notices aren't working for you either..we're stumped. ![]() Only thing I can think of is turn them all off and then log out , close browser maybe even reboot. Then log back in and start fresh with new subscriptions & settings , and see if a whole fresh redo gets it working again...
