Default A couple new symptoms

I've had the pins and needles, burning, weird sensations etc since June 2012.
Starting within the last few weeks have been muscle spasms, twitches, and a weird feeling in the left side of my face. I've had ringing in my ears the last week(this probably isn't related), and I have recently been having what feel like miniature bee stings in my legs, butt-ox, sharp pains in my ankles/feet, and sometimes arms. I have been slurring and mixing up my words a bit lately which I know is a symptom of MS, but also anxiety which I also have a lot of.

I have a Dr's appointment for Wednesday, and have got my prior lab results from my old doctor to take with me. I have took mrsD's advice and went to amazon and loaded up on a bunch of suggested things to bring up my B-12 and try to naturally reduce some of the anxiety.

I have been to a neurologist and "everything looked fine". All my labs supposedly looked fine, but after posting them on here there were some flaws pointed out. I have had an MRI summer of last year.

I am in constant thought and search for figuring out what is wrong and how to correct it. I know my symptoms match anxiety, peripheral neuropathy, MS, fibromyalgia(which my aunt has). With all this being said are there any specific tests or specialists that I should request from my doctor?

Just a thought. If you or your doctor suspect a hereditary peripheral neuropathy DNA blood testing might be in order as well as seeing a neurologist who can help you. DNA blood tests are very expensive.

Will insurance cover it, or is this something that I would have to pick up?

You would have to check with your insurance company. Some do and some don't as I understand it. Hope you find an answer.

Hi,

All I know is that Athena Diagnostics does the DNA blood testing. I'm sure there are other places. I believe your doctor might be able to find out exactly what they might need and what to do. You could ask www.athenadiagnostics.com There is a phone # there. They also might be able to answer some of your questions. Hope you get an answer.
