Default Bromelain and tumeric

Hi Mrs D
I am now taking Bromelain..started with 500mg and it went well so put it up to a 1000 mg in the morning first thing but have now noticed indigestion is this normal or should I take 500 mg a different times or cut down to 500mg per day it has really helped but i feel as though i have something stuck below my throat.
Can you also tell me if papain is a good thing to add to it.
Many thanks
Heather

Lightbulb

I take mine at different times of day. At first --the first 3 days or so-- the bromelain seemed to give me cramping. But that went away quickly. I added the second dose after a month, and take that in the afternoon. I take one therefore in the morning and one around 4pm.

If you use the LEF brand, those won't dissolve in the stomach because of the coating. If they do dissolve in YOUR stomach it is because you are low in acid.
