Default Tetanus vaccine

I need to look at my records but I will soon need a tetanus vaccine. I am nervous of course. That is an important thing to stay current with. I just wanted to check to see if anyone knows if it is ok for the nerves. My integrative MD says it is important of course. I do know that, but still hopeful it will be ok now that I have Dysautonomia/Autonomic Neuropathy. Any thoughts?

Had the booster for years. It can have adverse effects just like any other vaccine. I have researched it. I am not getting one again.

That would be nice to be able to skip it, but not getting it could be deadly. Working in the yard just getting a scratch would be a problem. I hate having to do it.

Hi, I am not sure if you can get just the tetanus anymore. The state I live in give a DPT. This also covers you for pertussis (Whooping Cough), that is on the rise. I did have one a few years back because I was in health care and around alot of children. My neurologist and rhematolgist suggests getting the recommended shots. I also am always confused on whether or not to get them.
I have heard you say great things about your integrative MD so I would go with what he/she recommends.

Yes, I will do what he thinks since it is so important. Gardening makes it so important. Just makes me nervous.
