Has anyone ever read or heard of anything that would link niaspan to peripeheral neuropathy, or in my case small fiber neuropathy? I think I had my first neuropathy symptom ever a few months after starting Niaspan, but based on my conversations with my doctors along with some internet research I have not really seen anything to link it with neuropathy, unlike the statins, which there has pretty clearly been an established link.

I'm on Niaspan because of an EXTREMELY high lipoprotein(a) reading, which is a cardiovascular risk factor. The Niaspan has brought it down quite a bit.
