Rose, I never heard of a B-12 patch until I read what you posted about it. I then looked it up on the internet. It costs $24.95 for 4 patches and you put it on once a week.

My question is as follows: What is wrong with a patch? Is it not recommended because of the delivery system, or you just don't think it's the same Methyl??? I'd love to hear your opinion. I'm so new to this B-12 thing I want to get all information and correct information. I'm on a B-12 roll here!!!!!

Thanks, Melody

Exclamation I think the B12 patch is bumkum...

I have a detailed post about it here---

There has been a spate of spam about the B12 patch...
I found the company who makes it rather superficial in its presentation,
and the price just totally wacko. There is no proof that it works,
since B12 is an aqueous product and the patch research has been
difficult with it. I have sites listed you can read about it.

Patches are made for drugs for a specific REASON... therapeutically.
There is no therapeutic advantage to B12 in a patch when oral works well.
(and is far less money). If there were no quality oral available, and only injectable
was the alternative, I could see a patch. But not as it stands now. It is just a gimmick
for people who are not informed as to alternatives.
