Mrs. D, I am getting more information added to my med. alert bracelets. Gentamicin and all mycins are there now. I will add Fluroquinolones and I am wondering what else I should add. I know there are many, but it seems I am forgetting one I wanted to add. Mostly common meds. I think. Like the ones mentioned. Thanks.

Putting in the order now. No way to add the whole list all but there is more room on the wallet card.

If it's the actual Medic Alert company you can add everything on the electronic file. The bracelet has most important info and a record number for doctors/med prof to access the full file with all information.
I have not found EMT's look at bracelets every time. I also keep a detailed list of medical history, medications, allergies, doctor names/numbers, and emergency contacts in my wallet where it can't be missed if someone looks for ID. |

Yes, in the wallet for sure. The bracelets (I have two) are another way to make sure everything is covered. You might not have a wallet with you. I have never been sure the elec. file would be looked at, takes time. Just have to do all I can.

Why exactly do you wear one? Drug interactions if you're passed out? Specifically for one of the anti-seizure meds we're all on? Or because there is more going on? Is this something all of us should have?
I'm on more and more meds all the time and it seems like it would be hard to keep it updated, but I really should be more aware of possible interactions. |

You can also add on your bracelet to "look at wallet card"...this way they know to look for more detailed info. |

Yes, I have more than a card also.
Chaos, I wear my bracelets to list antibiotics that cause neuropathy in case something happens. I am not on any meds.
