Okay so I have an issue. When I was pregnant six years ago, my legs and feet would cramp to the point in which my feet would be stuck in weird positions. One night it was so bad my husband had to carry me to the tub. Warm water and pressure would release the cramps. Fast forward and just diagnosed this year with sensory and autonomic neuropathy. The last few weeks these cramps have been coming back at night. Any suggestions. They wake me from a sleep and hurt so bad I want to scream but do not want to wake anyone. I get a few occasional toe cramps where they get stuck during the day as well. I am on no meds.

Magnesium.... have you done this? This mineral often releases and prevents muscle cramps.
Morton now makes a magnesium lotion...available on Amazon ($7.98) and at WalMart ($5.98). And I just saw a Sears ad... $20.00! And $9.69 from Morton's website directly. http://www.mortonsalt.com/for-your-h...-epsom-lotion/ Apply to the muscle areas you have problems with before the cramping starts. This product also reduces swelling for me. Use about a quarter's diameter on the area and rub in well. Only apply to intact skin. For the toes apply at the shin and calf level...that is where those muscles start. A little on the instep, but you don't need to apply to the toes themselves.

This may be a dumb question but do you eat the mustard or rub it on the area?
