Default Failed PICC lines aftermath problem!

I had 4 failed PICC attempts, and now my arm is quite achy, tender to touch, and I can't use it for much. There's no swelling or anything. The major bruising is now starting to subside, but the pain and such is not getting any better, and it only gets worse if I try to use the arm. I've tried ice, heat, anti-inflammatories, and nothing works. Can anyone help me?
BTW, I ended up with a central line in my chest, which scares the hell out of me, but it seems to be working.
