Hi Mel,
Mel thanks but i have mentioned i have been a Diabectic for 41 years.
I have always weight about 100 to 110.My husband went on the diet with me and well as my kids. At times i would drop to 80 lbs, this would be a your to thin issue. 8 yrs. ago when my husband passed away, and i had 3 Children in College. My drug of choice became food. Now since we had so many people who come over to our, first Mi. and we always had a Condo in Sherman Oats Ca. then home in Mo. I learned to love to cook because my husband would call and say,Sue do you mind a few people over for dinner. It usually turned out 40 or more. I stayed on the diet and enjoyed watching others eat. He did all the dishes and picking up. My mother would say why do you do that,i loved him,i enjoyed the people, and i'm sure there was some Mental Health issues When he passed away i did start eating,i gained 90 lbs..I was not tiny any more, and of course i got sick.My kids lost there father they didn't need to loose me,now i am 90 lbs. lighter. Almost loosing my left foot helped me wake up as well. This weigh gain became a yo yo thing,i would loose shape up,loose again this can be so hard on the body. I of course feel better,i get my testings on everything every 4 months because that's the way i like it. I check my sugar 3 times a day i'm in the 90 level, for me this is good. A fever might throw me off a little. Now you can power walk,i am far to good at power falling,so yoga and walker dancing, and streches help me. When your 60 the lower half of my tummie didn't tighten up like you see on TV this time of yr. Well alot of us are not as perky as we used to be.But i'm out dating. (sorry Bob) but in my wheelchair, and other times using my walker,it's made so i can put my hands through so as not to hurt them. I find my electic wheelchair a good way to get around town. This is a College town ,Hospital town so you see them everywhere.I do feel with people who have very bad balance problems from Neuropathys those things are life savers. But i feel better now except the pain is back and the rain is as well; We had 22 levys brake, there alot of small in and out towns so sand bags everywhere. We are hoping this will not be the floods of 93,but in the show me state you start packing sand bags untill somebody can show you they are no longer needed.. ;) Sue |
Sorry for your troubles about things other than methadone. I have nightmares about floods and tornadoes. So I will quit watching eagerly for any more information about METHADONE
