Default Antibotic Sulfatrim-DS and Neuropathy

Hello all been gone awhile, leaving again next week for a while. Hope everyone is doing well! I have never had a wart in my life now I have 2 . They are on the same toe same spot on different feet. The one next to my big toe. On the right foot it got infected. So went to the Dr. To have them cut out but they don't do that anymore. What a joke, I said your a Dr. Right? What's the problem! Ok so he puts me on Sulfatrim-DS 800mg/160mg for 14 days. On my 5 day and am having an awful flare up again. Just wondering if it could be the Antibotics? I did search through the threads but couldn't find anything. Thanks!

I also have experienced flares of my neuropathy when taking Sulfatrim DS (aka Bactrim DS). It settles down after finishing the med.

Thank you lizziebeth this is what I expected since I have been very carful not to eat anything in which would cause a flare up. I see no reason to continue this antibotic. You would think my MD would have known better than to give me this. These doctors never stop amazing me with their great wisdom. Thanks again!
