Default Think I have PN

Sorry if posts like these are against the rules. I'm on my phone and its a bit difficult to navigate. I put my symptoms in and it told me this as the top problem. I'm 19m, been having the dizziness feeling for months, even when laying down. My hands are constantly numb, I can move them and at times it feels like I can't. I have this pressure feeling on the back of my head and neck that's getting worse. Went to the doctor, every test but a MRI. Blood work came back normal, diabetes doesn't run at all in my family. All this is causing my anxiety to flare up making it worse but I know my anxiety isn't the cause. Just a bit scared this isn't going away. Any ideas? Thanks

I'll just list my symptoms
• Dizziness/lightheaded – Standing up, sitting down, walking, in the heat. I feel as if I’m on the verge of passing out at times.
• Fatigue – Can’t exercise anymore, just walking up the stairs my heart rate starts going.
• Loss Weight- I look much skinnier now without any exercise
• Hand numbness – Hands are cold and at times can’t really feel them, I can move them they just don’t feel there..( don’t know how to say)
• Pressure on the back of my lower head/neck
• My eyes feel heavy and my vision has been off, I get dizzy sometimes from rapid eye movement.

Default Hi Elifen

Welcome to Neuro talk. I know the last thing you probably want to do is see another doctor. I do recommend you see a good neurologist. Your PCP will give you a referral. There are so many different Neurological problems it is hard to pin point what this could be. Renards, can account for the cold hands etc. The lack of feeling in hands and numbness can be PN or carpel tunnel. See what I mean?
Just too many symptoms. Since your visions is being changed, I would think that for this alone, it would be worth a trip to the neurologist. I sure wish you all the best. Let me know what happens. You found a great site for support here. Keep in touch. ginnie

This sounds like something more serious than neuropathy, but I doubt anyone can help you with just knowing those symptoms. It sounds pretty scary, I would keep going to doctors until you pin point it better.

I mean you can start taking all the listed supplements found here, but I sure think you need a better diagnosis.

good luck

Ask your doctor about Autonomic Neuropathy, POTS, Dysautonomia. Hopefully they will know about them, if not find someone that does.
