Default Chest Pain and Shortness of Breath

I'm pretty sure I have Alcoholic Induced Periferal Neuropathy. I have every symptom and my dr appt is next week. I'm wondering if this on/off chest discomfort and shortness of breath could be a result? They came on about the same time. I'm 66....a little overweight but not too much.
