I've recently been diagnosed with idiopathic axonal PN. I'm scheduled to have a wisdom tooth removed next week. Not essential that this happen--the dentist COULD fill the cavity. Does anyone have experience with this? Should I cancel the appointment?

I don't see a problem. Years ago I did have a wisdom tooth filled and it lasted for years. Over the years, all of my wisdom teeth were removed at different times. Two were impacted. No problem. JMO

Thanks, Kitt! Nice to know this pain-in-the-mouth probably won't increase my other pains.
