It was heartbreaking to see her in such a condition.

They were able to finally try MM as a last resort and it was a miracle for her.

So here's another, more current video about 45 min long.

Marlene,

Thank you so much for this video. I watched from beginning to end. The effect on the users is amazing. Did you say you watched the 5yr old little girl who was having seizures 300x a day? The sight was simply unbearable. The young parents claimed to have tried everything but failed. Just after the first use of the MM, the seizures were immediately and significantly reduced. The girl, as of the making of the video, can do bicycles, horseback riding and talk more.

Have you read posts here on the forum who have success treatment with their PN with the use of MM? It would be nice to know of success stories from among us.

Thanks again.

Mary

Hi Mary,

I did see the part of the young girl with the seizures. It's pretty amazing how quickly the people in the video responded to MM.

I don't know of anyone using it for PN. But then I haven't paid attention to the use of MM for it. My husband's PN has improved so much over the past years that he really does not need any medication. If I come across any, I'll be sure to post it.

Like all things, I'm sure it doesn't work 100% for everyone and it probably takes some trial and error to find what works for an individual. And of course, you still have to address the underlying cause if possible.

Marlene,

I am glad about the improvement of your husband without need for medications (and grudgingly feeling envious too :-)). There have been no underlying conditions the tests can find. Later on in my PN symptoms, other conditions developed, so, these could not be the cause of my PN.

At least 10 people have told me to try it since I've been sick, but I can't tolerate recreational strains that I tried when I was younger.
My good friend with chronic pain was prescribed MM ( I'm in Canada), and it gave him anxiety, panic, and hallucinations. I would never try it after seeing that.

But I hear that it helps many with cancer pain, nausea, appetite, and even my aunt with lupus and MS. The only thing I would worry about is lung damage.

The only thing I would worry about is lung damage.
Things have changed a lot since then. Creating/improving strains for specific effects/purpose has become an art & science, so finding the right strain (or blend of strains) can make a huge difference in both effects & side effects.

At one time the MM supplied by the Canadian govt. left much to be desired.
Canada's medical marijuana leaves bad taste
but I understand that is now changing.

Lung damage is a valid concern that has resulted in vaporizer technology. The other alternative is comestibles.

lined_in_silver, based on the CNN video that Marlene provided earlier, my understanding was the CNB % should be higher than THC %. It is the THC that gives the "high" effect.

My friend will try using it for her cancer treatment the oral route. She does not want the inhalation due to lung concern. I noticed though that most patients use it by inhalation.

Default Hi Cops

For some pain and age has hit. Why there is no compassionate laws regrading this is beyond my understanding. Many medicines are plant derived. This is another medicine to have trial studies and at least try to understand the medical benefits. All that I can do in this state is sign a petition, to at least get it heard in the higher courts. If you have to take pain medication for quality of life, it should be up to the patient to decide for themselves if there is any benefit. I have faith, that in time our senses will over come the rock wall this subject has hit. There are petitions in most states that have not approved it.

That's due to the effects being acheived/felt much quicker (seconds vs. an hour or more) and easier titration. Many are going to vaporization, which is still inhaling, but without smoke. (I found a video explaining it, but the guy should've made the video before imbibing himself.... )

This is a little better...

Ginnie,

I am from Florida. Since I read and view more and more benefits of Mrijuana, I just feel frustrated that it cannot be made available to PN patients who are willing to try to get some relief.

My friend with cancer, who embrace natural therapy will fly to Arizona to give it a try. Its taking a toll not only physically, mentally but financially as well, because all her treatments not covered by insurance. The trip to another state is really hard on her. But she wants to try everything. Hope it'll work for her, with God's mercy.
