Default Vitamins better at night?

I have been taking all of my vitamins about 2-3 hours before bedtime lately (cuz of FINALS! Yay they're over!) - but I have noticed that I feel much better lately with my PN.
Maybe a silly question - but would taking them at night with water only increase absorption or something?? Just seems like they are more effective lately.

Lightbulb I only

use zinc, B12, and thiamine at night.

I find the B-complex very energizing so I take that in the morning.
( I take a complex 4 times a week and the rest at night separately).

But people differ. Do what works for you.

I agree its about what workd for you but I did hear that some are better absorbed wih food so maybe at the end of the day your stomach has more nutrients in it and that helps. Just a thought.

I have read that you should take B-12 on an empty stomach so more is absorbed.

Also Mrs. D, (if you are following this thread), I really need to know if I should buy the B-12 that is 5000 and has 100 pills in it. I take 5000 a day 5 pills of 1000 each. Would it be okay to take all the 5000 in one pill or is this not a good idea?

Thanks, Melody

5000 mcg is fine in one, and yes, an empty stomach would keep other things from interfering with your getting as much as possible out of it.

Cool. Thank you.
When I make my next purchase, it will be for the 5000 count. And I'll take it when I get up in the morning. I eat about an hour later.

So I'll be taking it on an empty stomach.

With what I'm taking now, my energy level is really amazing for a woman who is almost 60. I just took a power walk. And I'm still ready to go.

It's a good feeling to have energy. I haven't napped since I started the b-12 methyl.

thanks much.
