Default Pins and needles in head

I have had this fleeting, strange feeling of pins and needles in an aura around head. This has been mostly in morning. One time I had dream my headnwas encased in a metal cage.

I do have the pins and needles in other various places in body, but not usually in head.

What could this be--migraines, MS, drugs causing it?

Have you changed any medication recently? I had similar symptoms when I started Effexor, I was not able to tolerate the side effects as it also affected my vision.

Kinda like Pinhead? (Macabre humor—DON'T CLICK IF SQUEAMISH)

It could definitely be migraine and/or medication. Lots of other possibilities. In the morning (dreaming, waking up with it) suggests to me pressure on a nerve while sleeping.
