This was very good news for me I will definetly start Methylcobacamin.

Only one but, does this supplement interact with Synthroid as Vit B 12 B does?
I used to space this two out.

Thanks
Synnove

They should be ok... I take both in the morning together.

to Mrs D thanks. OK re times for meds

To en bloc
thanks
I took Toprol 25 mg daily for about 4 years or so.
I had a cardiologist that I liked for 2 years or so, only for regular chek ups
mostly things were stable hafd regulr stress test, had a Echo this February, he said it was ok, that is when he said re the left ventricle diastolic dysfunction,
I switched to another cardiologist due to the fact that the first one was not with my regular circle of doctors with my hospital.

The one I started with now, I think he should be good. I will have a good talk with him next week

I looked up on an older thread on autonomic neuropathy. I saw you mentioned you have Sjoegren, so you have autoimmune issues as well.

I had blood test for Sjoegren 2 or 3 times, all negative.
I also had the lip biopsy, because a special neurologist said that with the severe peripheral neuropathy I have, and the ledions on brain scan similar to it, but it was still negative
They only have the vasculitis as being a possible reason.

But also I have extreemely dry mouth and mucus membrane in GI / aand respiratory tract.
I wake up with respiratory tract almost closed up

I use two different eye drops for dry eyes

WHAT DO YOU TAKE FOR DRY RESPIRATORY TRACT?

40% of those with Sjogren's are sero-negative, so blood work can be negative yet still have the condition. My blood work has always been negative, but I am also immune deficient and that may alter my labs. But my lip biopsy was positive.

There is still so much unknown about autoimmune disease, so don't discount other autoimmune processes in your body...especially if you have a known process like vasculitis.

You should however, see a pulmonologist if you have any breathing related problems...to rule out interstitial lung disease (common with Sjogren's), asthma, etc.

You can use OTC dry mouth products like biotene, but if your symptoms are significant, then ask your doctor about Evoxac. It may help with the dry airways as well.

BTW, you have taken the Toprol long enough to have problems when getting off...if it done too quickly. Did they taper or just stop it? If they just stopped it, then talk to him about whether this may be part of the problem.

Regarding the Sjogren's, I was told that 6 times out of 10, those blood test would be innacurate.
Yes, I use Biotene spray and gel, but it only helps the mouth, not further down the respiratory tract.
I use saline nose spray every day., ad try to irrigate it to drip down into the nasopharynx so I do not get dry crust , especially at night.I will inquire about the Evovox, do not think I have heard of it. ThanksNow, my dry ness could simply be due to med side effects of Lyrica, Amitriptyline and Oxybutuin.( the whole spectrun!) I wish I could take a higher dose of Amitriptyline, but it dries me up too much

thanks I have such a list of misseries, that they are getting hard for me to keep track of. I have to make sure I tie all theese different issues together with the specialists.
I will talk to the cardio re the Toprol issue.and explore further re the possible cardiac vasospasm issue. ( I am not sure what the doc ment last I saw him, have not had the chance to get copy of his notes yet, I always do. that helps me understand.
Yes, I have a pulmonologist, saw her in August, just to repeat a every 6 months ct, due to e small nodules. At this time they are being observed Q6 months. But I do not think I discussed the possible relation to autonomic neuropaty and the chest tightness.
Yes, she knows regarding the vasculitis, and we sort of keep an eye out for possible Wegener's.
So this topic now, I did think a connection to worsening of vasculitis to my respiratory system.
I had a bronchoscopy in March that showed bronceal stenosis, with a web stenosis in two anterior segments. This doc said he woul repeat it in 1 year.
It was done at the University of Miamy Hospital
So, thanks for all your inputs, it helped me put some thoughts together.
One has to be one's advocate, right?

Good luck to you, and thanks for the help.
