Default Price of Doc Best R lipoic Acid

Did my eyes trick me????? I purchased the R Lipoic from Amazon either last week of October or 1st week of November, the price was still the same at $18something, but now i checked because I wanted to stock as I normally do, to my dismay the price at Amazon is $27.54. Is this correct???

Is there any site where I can buy it for a lower price. This cannot be, a $10 hike!!! i hope i just got it wrong.

Yowsers! I see it today at 28 dollars + !

They have also raised free shipping to $35 which does not make me happy either!

So I went and checked iherb...
http://www.iherb.com/Doctor-s-Best-B...5&sr=null&ic=1
Still at the $17 price.

But you know I received a recent email from iherb... giving a sale on all lipoic acid products for a short time.
It is possible the price will go up there too!

At Amazon there is another seller for $15.99 but shipping is not free unless you get $49.00 worth of stuff from that one.

Ugh.... This is not a good sign. Amazon was quite a savings for people like us who use multiple products. sigh......

Thank you Mrs.D for confirming. i thought my eyes are tricking me there....Good gracious, I have to buy from iherb now before the price go up. I never use iherb. I will need to find an alternative site aside from Amazon. Yes, you are right there, they increase the free shipping all right. And this is not good for us.

You do have to look at Amazon's full listing though. Sometimes there are more than one offer, and the prices can vary quite a bit.

It is also possible that the company supplying Sodium Lipoate, has raised their prices...That sometimes happens after the public accepts the new item, then they go and raise the costs.

I'd also check Amazon a few times, as it might be an error..They do make mistakes.

I just checked the UK site - that's where I have to order - and the price there went down from 18 to 17 Eur, but that's fulfilled by a different supplier compared to my previous order.

I checked again today the price at Amazon is still $28.

Anyway, i ordered from iherb yesterday 2 bottles. Yes, I should have order the bigger bottles but i waned to try iherb first before I use them regularly.

I also had similar experience with Jarrro Formula Probiotics. I ordered the veggie cap and was delivered was not the veggie cap. The price was $25++ when I ordered it. I returned it for replacement. Only a matter of few days, the price went up to$27++ ! This is something that concerns me because i spend quite a bit for the supplements.

iherb.com is very nice.... many of us have used it for years.
I switched to Amazon because we buy things there so often the previous $25 free shipping was handy for us. But now... not so much!

iherb is fast and I've never had a mistake from them. At one time you know, it was one of the few places you could get methylcobalamin! It is still a good source for unusual items.

Swanson has some Doctor's Best products too.
They do have it at a reasonable price still...but who knows how long that will last?
http://www.swansonvitamins.com/docto...mg-60-veg-caps

I used them for a short time, but I didn't like their branded products (their Theanine didn't seem to work like the Doctor's Best did). Right now their shipping is free over $20... but that tends to change frequently. They do send an interesting catalog out once you have used them. It is interesting to read...and huge!

I still use Puritan's for our basic stuff. Their buy one get 2 free (and sometimes free shipping offers come to your email) are big savers for us. Lysine, taurine, Vit C, biotin, D3, Melatonin, kelp (for iodine), are examples of what I buy from them. I used to get our methylB12 there, but it has gone up in price, and Costco now has it at a bigger savings for us.

I just spent 2 hours sifting through price listings at amazon making an order for my mom and it seems like prices are up on a lot of things. Benfotiamine went up for sure. It sure takes a long time to sit and go through all the price options but I did compare with local health food stores and most items are always cheaper online.

The New Chapter Zyflamend was actually cheaper at local stores but only by a dollar.

All in all I felt prices went up.
