Default Radiofrequency Thermoneurolysis to treat SFN

I recently came across a pain treatment called Radiofrequency Thermoneurolysis, but I am not sure if this is some kind of obscure, un-vetted treatment.

Is anyone familiar with this type of treatment? Has anyone ever tried it? Can it be applied to Small Fiber Neuropathy (SFN)?

Thanks in advance,
Dave

Lightbulb

This is one example:
http://www.headaches.com/rfinfo.htm

I just read a new therapy for refractory hypertension, of Radio Freq ablation to a nerve going to the kidney. Supposed to reverse hypertension for at least 3 yrs without drugs.

You'll just have to Google this further. Destroying nerves this way takes a very competent doctor IMO, and it remains to be seen if the nerves grow back and start the pain the again?

No one has come here with this RF treatment of the feet however, that I have seen so far.

Interesting concept to go to the kidney to lower B/P. That may actually work!
