Default Joe, I have a very vivid...

imagination and a totally wry sense of humor...BUT...I am having a hard time here?
Are saying that you have either been a cast member of SNL or Laugh In? I know the 'dress code' was a bit different then and all. BUT well, you guys are leaving me speechless!

Sue:

I am not 6'7 in high heels (that was Hey Joe). I am 5 feet 6 inches and NEVER wear heels!!!

and Joe: Since you are 50, we couldn't have possibly met up at The Stratton to dance because you would have been 12 to my 22.

Did you ever go to Lakeville Manor? That was another great disco place.

Oh boy, did I groove to Donna Summer and boy did we dance the Hustle!!!!

Ah, memories ......

Default to laugh or not to laugh

I ran over both of my toes with a stationary bike...yes, a stationary bike. ( I know what you are thinking about my thought process right now...but remember, my dogs do dishes.)

I went to the doc for another reason, and he said, "Do you realize you have a serious injury here?" I laughed....

He said, 'No really, this isn't funny."

I said, "I don't feel a thing."

I didn't know I had PN at that time...and I apparently didn't realize I didn't feel my feet....I knew I had gotten clumsy and had a hitch in my git-a-long when I ran, but, I never suspected PN until I had small fiber biopsies 18 months later. Had more symptoms than a Merck Manual but didn't suspect PN, as I basically thought mostly diabetics or people with autoimmune diseases got it...Didn't realize 25% is idiopathic, and a lot of it is autonomic...there is a lot to learn once you get sick...It is odd, as I had a client with autonomic neuropathy...I discovered it and sent him to a doc and he was diagnosed with it, and then it dawned on me, I had many of the same symptoms as he did, but he had diabetes and had had chest radiation for lymphoma, so his wasn't idiopathic....kind of interesting.

Anyway, I was moving my stationary bike, and rolled it over both my toes...the toenails were all black...I never felt a thing. Now, if I just didn't feel the rest of me, I would be fine...then again, I would have to buy a dishwaher.

Lightbulb Also

Pain is always sleeping to the side closest to a bedside table or dressing table.

So I can place me cuppa tea,glass of water,tissue box,pain pills,sleeping tablets,BP pills,lavender lotion, wheat pillow,tiger balm,sports rub,and any other goodies I need handy just in case I have a bumpy night.
