I agree. Life is a gamble, and since there is no reason to believe that Alan is extremely low in B12 and in desperate need of at right now, I would continue with the current treatment. Then, later on, I would supplement B12 as a preventative and on the chance it might also help.

The new symptom could be a coincidence, but it could also be nerves responding to treatment and working to repair/regenerate. The timing makes repair a good possibility, but time will tell.

Okay, this is what I gather we should do.

Don't give Alan the Methyl B-12 for now. Wait and see how the IVIG thing goes. By the way, Alan had no bug crawling feeling today. And when he did have it those times, it was always in the same place (from the ankle to mid calf).

So Rose, when do you think we should start Alan on the 5000 Methyl B-12 (the package arrived today). I LOVE iherb.com. They are cheap, and very fast in their delivery. Absolutely blew me away. I am very satisified with this company.

So again, how long do we wait before we go, "okay, let's start Alan on the B-12". Believe me, I know not to ask any doctors this question, because when you mention supplments to them I either get "why on earth do you want to take B-12, do you have a dificiency??" or I get: "well, it can't hurt you, but I don't believe it them".

So I'm not asking his neuro when to start him on B-12.

I'd just like to know when you think he should start....

Thanks,

Melody
