Thumbs down one foot tingles

Has anyone had one foot tingle, burn, feel cold (but not to the touch)? This neuropathy started in my big toe and is now my foot, but mostly my toes. It doesnt effect my other foot. I am seeing my gp next week but havent seen much on the web about one side being effected. I am not diabetic. This started about a year ago....didnt notice it during the summer. Now its back.

Yes.

Mine started in one foot and the symptoms varied, changed from day to day and eventually started in the other foot. My symptoms still vary from day to day. I can have 2 toes on fire hot and the rest cold on the same foot. I have had hubby touch them and it's so weird.

pn is a strange beast.

Don't know for sure. Thyroid is the main culprit however I believe my blood pressure meds could have caused it also, or it's just plain idiopathic...not sure I will ever know.

Mine started in the left foot, mostly a heated sensation. I thought it was menopause, like hot flash in the foot! A few months later the right foot started. That was about a year ago.

These days I get different effects which can last a day or a week. This week it's my second and third toes in pain, foot pads numb, heals fine.

As Stacey said, PN is a strange beast, indeed!

I am also yet to be diagnosed, still running tests.

My gut feeling is that I'm gluten sensitive, but my Doctor disagrees and therefore doesn't care to run tests for it. So, I'm going gluten free at the moment to test for myself.
