Default Levofloxacin?

Is this okay to take? My gallbladder is acting up and I have to go have a hyroscan. Allergic to Pcn and sulfa drugs. Dr. Gave me this to reduce swelling from possible infection. Just got home, took it and then started reading it can cause on. If we already have it, can it not make it worse? Just curious.
