The issues are with the species of certain algae. Some of them
have endogenous chemicals in them as part of their makeup (not pollutants), that are toxic to mammals.

This is complicated and you just have to read the data and newest research to see what species are involved. Hopefully (but I see no guarantees yet) that the types grown in the vats commercially are not involved, or that the purification and processing remove the toxins like BMAA and the microcystins that are explained in the Wiki article.

There are algae today in lakes and drinking water, carrying these toxins! Heating and boiling the water releases them MORE (by bursting the cells), so is not a solution. Last year I read some papers online about the Great Lakes going back decades! It is just the public was not really aware of this research going on.

Try not to overdo things or overstretch.

Nerve healing --axon repair-- uses B-vits including B12, and fish oil.

But many anti-inflammatory things also help prevent further damage. Curcumin, tart red cherries, blueberries, etc. help.

Avoiding sugar lowers insulin and this lowers inflammatory Cox-2 cytokines.

Vitamin C is involved with collagen repair... so at least 500mg a day of this is useful.

Look up on Google -- natural anti-inflammatories.... you'll find all sorts of suggestions there too.

We just had this nutrition article posted:

"Sweet red bing cherries may act as a selective COX-2 inhibitor, reducing inflammation without the damage to our stomach and gut lining caused by NSAID drugs like ibuprofen."

This stuff is great
http://www.neuropathytreatmentgroup...._updated_small

And now comes with 150g Stabilized R Alpha Lipoic Acid
Also with Vitamins B and D and others.

They are potent you can taste it the second the pills hit the mouth and they are large pills and tend to get caught in the back of the throat for a bit but they help and more importantly eliminate having to unscrew several different containers which I HATE doing causing me to forget my doses in the past

Ron, Let me say that Im the last person to jump on the Vitamin cure bandwagon so I write this after 2 months use and I can say unequivocally this helps a lot!

My pain level's have halved and that's a lot of pain relief. The main reason this works for me is I don't forget to take them as they are in one pill. You need to take 2 pills in the morning and 2 at night. I keep one pack by my laptop in the TV room and the other on my bed stand so I never forget

3 months is $150 and its roughly the same price if you bought them all separate in 4 or 5 different containers
