Re. Cipro.
I am thinking back to around the time of my first signs of neuropathy. I had at that time just had 2 or 3 incidents of UTI for which I had been prescribed Cipro each time. It could just be a coincident perhaps, but it make me wonder. I am allergic to Sulfa, so I do not have a lot of choices. I think Keflex and Nitrofurantoin might be on such list too, I am not sure. I have looked at the lists of meds causing neuropathy. This is a question of another med (unrelated to UTI symptoms): The med called Dimenhydrinate, is it related any such lists of neuropathy causing meds? Does anyone know?? |

Keflex should be okay. So is doxycycline, for UTIs.
Dimenhydrinate is Dramamine...and is related to Benadryl, which are both first generation antihistamines. I have not seen it on lists of drugs that cause PN however.
