I'm not a fan of internet doctors, so I'm not endorsing this—just passing it along. I found it doing a quick search for healing vagus nerve damage
IT MAY BE POSSIBLE TO HEAL THE VAGUS NERVE EVEN IF BLOOD SUGARS ARE NOT KEPT VIRTUALLY NORMAL The problem I see is that taking RLA in the amounts mentioned in the article may set off more acid reflux. However it may be worth following up on some of the related searches at the bottom of the first goggle page. Doc
