As a very recent sufferer I can't give a lot of help. my DR is also banking on my symptoms coming from my back.
We went away over the weekend. took the vibrations in my legs 30 mins to ease after a 3hr car trip. I still had a ball catching up with family and just did what I normally would have done.

Life might change but do what you can and keep up the things you love where possible. Giving up you hobbies is what will make it worse.

Good point. Attitude is crucial/paramount. We can overcome this thing or let it overcome us.

Very true. We can overcome. However, with CMT it keeps progressing and so we go thru the grief process over and over again. And we keep getting worse. There is nothing we can do about that.
