When you say you have lost a lot of weight, how much? Just curious as I have been researching the link between being underweight and neuropathy. See the thread labeled "eating disorder neuropathy."

I'm a little frustrated that she brushed it off so quickly.

Hi Pixel,
If you feel she blew you off call her back. Don't be afraid to request a new blood draw for your B12 level. Tell her you want to be sure it is that high because you feel it is concerning and would like to take the proper b12 level with you to the neuro.

Be polite but be your own advocate. :)

Cat, I am 5'4 and 108lbs. I was 125lbs a year ago. My neuropathy symptoms started a few months ago. I still feel as though most of my symptoms would be indicative of a low B12 and not one as high as mine. I read your thread and I can tell you that as much as I may enjoy drinking wine, I quickly found out it made all my symptoms worse, so I stopped having it.

Hopeful, Thank you. I know I should be a better advocate for myself. I will speak to the Neurologist in May and perhaps have another blood test.
