Angry Marijuana

I live in a state where it is legal. I never smoked cigarettes or weed before. I bought a pocket vaporizer and tried different strains of weed and it has done nothing. I tried the juice and it made me sick. I was using gummy bears with THC and I was so sick that I passed out onto the floor. So be careful especially with edibles. They can be dangerous. They also didn't do anything for my burning.

Did you try low-THC CBD oil? High THC levels will just get you high and not necessarily relieve your neuropathic pain.

I loved them too! Maybe the candy cigs were my gateway drug to a nearly two decade cigarette addition...they didn't have the same effect on my siblings though.

They were just good candy. They certainly did not and do not taste like a real cigarette. I don't know anyone, friends, family, myself that led to smoking the real thing.

Sounds more like Lyrica to me.

I am no expert but it sounds like you may not have tried a high CBD strain which must be specifically sought out since most strains are high in THC and typically contain low or no CBD (if that is the case, then you were probably just getting high).

Cannibis is a powerful drug and if you decide to try it (legally in 22 states so far), you must absolutely be careful, just as you said and determine what works, the best dosage and where you source it.

Default back to the original track

I've been experimenting the last couple of weeks with various sorts of cannabis: a hybrid indica/sativa oil blend in a vape pen; cookies; a CBD tincture under the tongue. None, as Dr. Smith rightly predicted, does anything for numbness. There may be some lessening of the tingling in my arms from the cookies, which are the strongest and most psychoactive of the delivery systems. But that might also just be the euphoria.

I'm more or less giving up on help from the stuff for my PN, but am still pursuing it as a sleep aid. Must say that a bunch of puffs on the vape pen really helped last night to keep me asleep. The CBD tincture, 15 drops under the tongue an hour before bedtime, is allegedly very good for this purpose but for me the jury is still out.

For anyone who's being helped by this stuff for neuropathic pain, I say fantastic.

I'll continue to report on progress.
