Dear all,
Since my last post, I had stopped taking 20mg Micardis and found my PN symptoms improved for a few weeks. However, on 5th of June I had to go back on it (20 mg) due to an increase in my blood pressure (over 140 / 85) and now I found my symptoms have worsened again. I am going to give it for a few days and if the symptoms do not improve or continue to worsen, I will see my GP to discuss another type of HB medication. Can someone advise me which type has less effect on the PN symptoms. Thanks in advance. Yu Ping |

I am using a low dose beta blocker with success.
Your reading is really borderline. With the daily attention to magnesium you may not need anything. There are articles now in the media about not treating those patients with borderline hypertension. This would be your decision after studying the new information. example: http://www.thedoctorwillseeyounow.co...t/art4240.html Not all doctors however, are embracing this new concept.
