Default Wake up! What to do when pain/discomfort knows better

I didn't take tramadol prior to bed which lately means a body wake up call earlier than I'd like. I took one now, though it needs time to 'arrive'.

What tips does anyone have to sleep better? It is much improved of late with the addition of melatonin, though nights like tonight are part of the package.

Thanks in advance,

KN Jon
